The LPGA Tour has asked its players to appear more buttoned down when on the course. So, Lexi Thompson, one of the tour’s top players, figured she’d have a little fun.

In light of the LPGA’s new stricter dress code, Thompson used her Instagram account to unveil the next outfit she may — or may not — wear.

The revised dress code no longer permits players to wear plunging necklines;‌ skirts, skorts or shorts that do not sufficiently cover a player’s “bottom area;”‌ racerbacks without a mock or regular collar;‌ joggers; or leggings, unless they are worn under a skort or shorts.

Thompson, 22, is third on the tour’s money list ($1,130,699) ahead of Canadian Brooke Henderson. She shot a 4-under 67 in the first round of the Marathon Classic on Thursday.
