Rory McIlroy knows how to take a joke.
The world’s No. 1 golfer attended a rugby match in Belfast, Northern Ireland and was interviewed at halftime.
McIlroy was then serenaded to the tune of Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’ by the fans behind him. The supporters are referencing the four-time major winner’s former relationship with tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.
They were engaged until McIlroy called off the wedding in a 10-minute phone call, according to Wozniacki herself.
McIlroy may want to avoid Fenway Park in the future.
