Sportsnet.ca -- An episode of rink rage ended practice for Ray Emery on Thursday, indicating the lack of playing time has finally gotten to the Ottawa Senators' netminder.

Emery swung his stick in frustration while leaving the ice after the morning skate, knocking off a bunch of water bottles. He then tossed the stick into the stands before disappearing into the dressing room.

Despite leading the team to a Stanley Cup finals appearance last season, Emery has played a backup role to Martin Gerber for much of the current season.

Gerber will get the start in goal Thursday night when the Sens host the Islanders. For New York, Wade Dubielewicz will make just his third start of the season as Rick DiPietro is out after undergoing an MRI on his knee.
