Sportsnet.ca - Ottawa Senators goalie Ray Emery showed up late againto a team practice Monday in New York according to an online report.
As reported in the Ottawa Sun, Emery arrived at 4:04 p.m. for the team’s 4 p.m. practice at the New York Islanders' practice facility.
The Senators were given the option of meeting the team in Long Island rather than travelling back to Ottawa for the club’s 1 p.m. charter.
In December, Emery was told to leave Scotiabank Place by head coach John Paddock after sleeping in and showing up five minutes before a practice.
In addition to Emery's being late for practice, forward Patrick Eaves did not practice. He left Ottawa's last game before the break at Tampa after it appeared he re-injured his shoulder. He missed more than six weeks with the injury this season.
