RALEIGH, N.C. -- Maple Leafs forward Nik Antropov is facing a three-game suspension after receiving two game misconducts at the end of Toronto's 3-2 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday.

Antropv was called for hooking at 2:34 in overtime, leading to Rod Brind'Amour scoring a power-play winner for Carolina. After the goal, Antropov was assessed two game misconducts, which carries an automatic three-game suspension.

Antropov was seen tossing his stick at one of the officials.

Antropov has played in all 53 Leafs games this season and has tallied 18 goals and 23 assists.

NOTE: Ottawa Senators goalie Ray Emery will start against the Leafs on Saturday in Toronto.
