Sportsnet.ca -- It looks like Marc-Andre Fleury may have to deal with Tomas Holmstrom in his crease after all.

Amid reports that he was not going to play in Game 4 on Saturday night, Holmstrom told reporters on Friday that he intends to suit up in Game 4 on Saturday night in Pittsburgh.

"The extra day off definitely helps," Holmstrom said. "I'm going to skate tomorrow morning and see how it feels. If it goes like this, I think I'm going to be okay."

The winger acknowledged suffering a leg injury in the third period of Wednesday's Game 3 loss in Pittsburgh. Holmstrom did not participate in Detroit's practice on Friday morning, opting instead to receive treatment and ride the stationary bike."

"I got tangled up with (Hal Gill) and I felt something pull in my leg," he said of the incident which occured with about seven minutes left. "I tried to come back in the game get it going during commercial break, but it was too numb."

"He has a problem with the back of his leg on his hamstring. We think he'll be fine," added head coach Mike Babcock. "I'm not going to decide - he's going to decide. He's a tough guy and I think he's going to play."

Babcock added that if Holmstrom cannot play, Dan Cleary would take his spot on the first line with Pavel Datsuyk and Henrik Zetterberg.
