Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Ron Wilson is putting defenceman Ian White on a line with forwards Matt Stajan and Alex Steen tonight as the club visits the Detroit Red Wings.
Wilson told Sportsnet's David Bastl that White's move to offence is only for tonight's game as a result of injuries and the club's stretch of nine pre-season games in 14 days.
For the Wings, Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk will not play tonight.
No scratches for the Leafs were announced, but the following lines skated Friday morning.
Antropov-Blake-Ponikarovsky
Grabovski-Mitchell-Tlusty
Hagman-Mayers-Hollweg
Stajan-Steen-White
Devereaux-Bell-Rogers
Curtis Joseph is expected to start in goal Saturday vs. the Wings at home, while Toskala will conclude the Leafs' pre-season Sunday in Toronto vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets.
