One injured Oiler was on the ice Monday morning and another wasn't.
Sam Gagner, who didn't play Saturday against Calgary, did skate this morning with the Oilers. He was injured on Friday late in the game against the Flames.
"It was just something that happened and I hurt my leg. We'll have to see how I feel tomorrow and how it reacts to skating today" Gagner said.
Sheldon Souray also didn't play on Saturday and wasn't abl;e to skate Monday morning. Souray suffered a muscle bruise on Friday night after getting tangled up with Todd Bertuzzi.
"We decided to give Sheldon the day off and we'll see how he feels tomorrow." Oilers coach Craig MacTavish said. "The one thing we're not going to do is push people to play if they're not ready. We've had enough injury issues the past couple of years that we want to make sure guys are healthy"
