Don't hand Brian Burke the Toronto Maple Leafs job just yet.

While Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment continues to decide on what price it's willing to pay the free-agent general manager, on Sunday Burke visited Boston with his wife and children, sources told Sportsnet.

Burke, who left his post as GM of the Anaheim Ducks earlier this month, wants to work on the East coast, where four of his older children currently live. He was in the final year of a four-year contract with the Ducks when he told the team on Nov. 12 he would not sign an extension.

While many expect that he will end up replacing Cliff Fletcher in Toronto, one source told Sportsnet, "the next couple of days will tell us which way this thing is likely to go."

Burke, who was previously general manager of the Vancouver Canucks, helped lead the Ducks to the Stanley Cup in 2007.
