Chris Neil participated in a full practice with the Senators on Tuesday morning and the forward says he may be able to return to the lineup later this week.

"I don't want to rule anything out. We'll see how it feels tomorrow with swelling and just go from there," said Neil, who said that Saturday's home game against the Penguins might be a realistic target for his return.

Neil suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee on November 15th in Long Island. He underwent surgery to repair his knee on November 21st and the prognosis was that he would be sidelined from four to six weeks.

Senators lineup from Tuesday's practice:

Heatley - Spezza - Alfredsson

Vermette - Fisher - Donovan

Foligno - Kelly - Winchester

Ruutu - Bass - Shannon

Picard - Kuba
