Forward Ryan Shannon has been cleared to play and will return to the Ottawa Senators lineup tonight when they host the Atlanta Thrashers.

Shannon had missed the last six games with a concussion he suffered on November 13th.

Meantime, Alexandre Picard will miss his second consecutive game with a sore wrist. Christoph Schubert will take his place on the blueline.

Dean McAmmond (sore throat) and Chris Neil (right knee) could be ready to return to the lineup as early as Saturday afternoon.
