Brian Elliott will make his seventh consecutive start in goal when the Ottawa Senators travel to St. Louis on Thursday to open up a three-game road swing.
Head coach Craig Hartsburg also confirmed that Alex Auld will make the start on Friday night when the Senators take on the Blue Jackets in Columbus.
Elliott is coming off a 4-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, stopping 23 shots in the game. The Newmarket, Ontario native is 3-2 in six appearances with the Sens since being recalled from Binghamton of the AHL on Jan. 9.
Auld, who signed a two-year deal as an unrestricted free agent with the Sens in the off-season, is 9-11 in 25 games.
On Tuesday, the Senators announced that goaltender Martin Gerber had been assigned to the AHL after clearing waivers last Friday.
The Senators will wrap up the road trip with an afternoon tilt in Washington on Sunday.
