Ray Emery has reportedly left his KHL team over a currency exchange rate issue with his contract according to ESPN.
Emery did not report to Mytishchi Atlant, after the league's break this past week, reportedly because the team has been short-changing him on his $2-million net salary.
The dispute stems from the team reportedly not using the right exchange rate for most of the season and Emery is about 33 percent shy right now of what he should have earned.
This season in the KHL, Emery has a record of 20-6-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 save percentage.
