It appears Tomas Kaberle's time with the Toronto Maple Leafs is over.
Numerous reports say the 31-year-old defenceman could be dealt as early as tonight once the NHL's Entry Draft begins at 7 p.m.
Leafs GM Brian Burke said Thursday that he is mulling over an offer that is thought to include Kaberle for a player and a draft pick. Kaberle has a no-trade clause in his contract, but because the Leafs missed the playoffs, the team has a window to trade him - as well as fellow defenceman Pavel Kubina - between the beginning of the draft and mid-August. Kaberle is entering the third year of a four-year deal that averages $4.25 million a year.
