Oilers reassign Chorney

PRESS RELEASE
General manager Steve Tambellini announced Saturday the Edmonton Oilers have reassigned defenceman Taylor Chorney to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Chorney, 22, has played 21 games with the Falcons collecting four goals and five assists. The Thunder Bay, ON native has appeared in 14 NHL games with the Oilers this season posting one assist. He was recalled on Wednesday and suited up in last night's game versus Dallas.
Chorney was selected by the Oilers in the 2nd round, 36th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
