Nazem Kadri admitted to being star-struck. Who could blame him?
There he was, a surprise addition to the Maple Leafs lineup as an emergency call up, out for the opening faceoff to make his NHL debut.
Across from him was towering Joe Thornton. If he snuck a peak to his left, there was Dany Heatley. To his right, if he dared let his focus shift, was Patrick Marleau.
