The Toronto Maple Leafs shook up their front office Sunday, with assistant GM Jeff Jackson leaving the club and senior VP of hockey operations Dave Nonis taking over GM duties with the Toronto Marlies.
In other moves Sunday, the Leafs announced that forward Jay Rosehill has been recalled on emergency conditions from the Marlies. He will join the Maple Leafs in Philadelphia this afternoon and will be available to play in Sunday’s game versus the Flyers at 7 p.m. Forward Fredrik Sjostrom, who left last night’s game between Toronto and Ottawa due to an upper-body injury, is listed as day-to-day.
