As the auditions for next year's Maple Leafs squad near the callback stage, Tyler Bozak has moved to the front of the line.

Skating at centre on the No. 1 unit with relative veterans Nikolai Kulemin and Phil Kessel, Bozak had a goal and two assists as that trio dazzled while settling beyond question which team is the NHL's worst.

The Maple Leafs, mere pretenders to the crown, jumped to a 5-1 lead early in the second period Saturday and then cruised to a 6-4 victory over the visiting, and dead-last Edmonton Oilers in a game that was more entertaining than the standings might have predicted.
