Lightning C Steven Stamkos' jersey looks a bit different these days.

It's now emblazoned with a large "A" for alternate captain, a role that D Mattias Ohlund had filled (along with Marty St. Louis). Ohlund is out indefinitely with a left ankle injury; he didn't dress for a fifth straight game on Saturday night.

"It's a pretty big honor," Stamkos said. "Obviously it's because Ohlund's hurt, but even in that case, to be wearing the letter is pretty special."
