Matt Moulson re-signed with the New York Islanders on a one-year deal worth $2.45 million.
The 26-year-old left winger had 30 goals and 48 points in 82 games after signing as a free agent a year ago.
Moulson was a surprise producer for the Islanders, playing alongside 2009 No. 1 pick John Tavares. He was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins (263rd overall) but never played there and signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings in 2006. He played sporadically over two seasons before joining the Islanders.
