It appears as though Tomas Kaberle's papa doesn't always preach the exact truth.

The Leafs defenceman's father, Frantisek, recently told a Czech hockey magazine that his son still had issues with Leafs coach Ron Wilson but Tomas Kaberle denied that.

"My dad's opinion, I can't control that -- can you control your dad?" the younger Kaberle asked.

"I don't agree with everything my father says."

The Leafs defenceman did say he has had agreements with Wilson in the past but he believes winning would solve everything.

"I don't agree with everything with my coach especially when you are losing you get into some arguments."

Frantisek Kaberle also told the magazine that he doesn't expect his son to remain a Leaf for the entire season but Kaberle appears content to stay in Toronto.

"I'm happy I stayed here," he said. "I'll do anything for this organization. They've been so good to me for the last 12 years so I've got no issues staying here."

Tomas Kaberle is ignoring the usual trade rumours at the moment.

"There is always a lot of speculation and it's something I can't control. It's no real issue."
