Dawes signs 2-way deal with Thrashers

Nigel Dawes spent last season with the Flames.
Nigel Dawes has signed a two-way contract with the Atlanta Thrashers.
The deal means Dawes could play for the AHL's Chicago Wolves if he doesn't make the Thrashers.
Dawes had 32 points, including 14 goals, in 66 games last season with the Calgary Flames.
In 199 NHL games, he has 39 goals and 44 assists for 83 points and 43 penalty minutes with Calgary, Phoenix and the Rangers.
