The Ottawa Senators will likely be without two defencemen when they take on division rivals this weekend.

Both Sergei Gonchar and Chris Campoli suffered lower body injuries during the team's 4-3 shootout loss against the New York Islanders on Tuesday night. The Senators host the Boston Bruins on Friday night, before traveling to Toronto to face the Leafs on Saturday.

"Both are doubtful for the weekend," said head coach Cory Clouston. "We still may have Matt (Carkner) tomorrow and he might be ready for the weekend. We have to wait and see if it's one or two call-ups from Binghamton."

Alex Kovalev and Chris Neil also did not participate in the club's practice on Wednesday, but both are expected to be ready to play this weekend.
