Craig Anderson said he "felt great" after practice on Wednesday and he anticipates starting in goal on Thursday night when the Ottawa Senators face the New York Rangers.
Anderson has not been able to start the last three games because of a lower body injury suffered on March 15th against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Three players - Jason Spezza, Erik Karlsson and Marek Svatos - missed Wednesday's practice session in Manhattan. Head coach Cory Clouston said that none of the players is suffering from any significant injuries and all three should be available to play against the Rangers.
Winger Milan Michalek participated in the full practice on Wednesday, although his status for the game in New York will not be decided until Thursday morning. Michalek has been sidelined since suffering a foot injury on February 26th.
