The Calgary Flames will have their leader back for the season-opener.
Accroding to Sportsnet's Daren Millard, Flames general manager Jay Feaster guarantees that Jarome Iginla will be in the lineup when the Flames open their season against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 8.
He skated Thursday for the first time since back spasms sent him off the ice on the first day of training camp.
In 82 games last season, Iginla recorded 43 goals and 43 assists for 86 points.
