RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Carolina Hurricanes have activated forward Jeff Skinner after he missed 16 games with a concussion.
The NHL's top rookie last season was eligible to play in Sunday night's game at Washington.
The 19-year-old Skinner was hurt Dec. 7 at Edmonton.
At the time of the injury, he led the team with 12 goals and 24 points.
