Stars place Ribeiro on IR

DALLAS -- The Dallas Stars have placed centre Mike Ribeiro on injured reserve with a lower body injury.

The move before Monday night's game at St. Louis was retroactive to Jan. 7, when Ribeiro was hurt in a 4-1 win against Edmonton.

Ribeiro had seven goals and five assists in 11 games before getting injured. He is second on the team in power play scoring with seven points.
