The Montreal Canadiens recalled Louis Leblanc from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL on Wednesday.
Leblanc, 20, played 14 games during his first stint with the Canadiens this season. He recorded two goals and three assists.
The Pointe-Claire, Que., native also has nine goals and eight assists in 25 games with Hamilton this season.
Leblanc is expected to be in the lineup against the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night.
To make room for Leblanc, the Canadiens sent down forward Andreas Engqvist to Hamilton.
