TORONTO -- The Toronto Maple Leafs have sent defenceman Keith Aulie back to the American Hockey League.
The club called Aulie up last week after putting Carl Gunnarsson on injured reserve.
An Aulie mistake led to Vancouver's first goal in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks. He saw limited action for the rest of the game.
The 22-year-old has two assists in 17 games with the Maple Leafs this season.
The six-foot-six, 217-pound native of Rouleau, Sask., has also appeared in 20 games with the Marlies, registering one assist.
