Replay of the Day: Jason Spezza could well be the hottest player in the National Hockey League. The 28-year-old centre’s current six-game, 15-point rampage has helped him leapfrog into fourth overall in league scoring. He’s now the season’s most productive player on a Canadian team, surpassing the Toronto Maple Leafs’ dynamic duo of Phil Kessel and Joffrey Lupul and the Sedin twins in Vancouver.
In celebration of Family Day and/or President’s Day, the Toronto native pops a bottle. Watch Spezza tee-up a missile from a wide angle yesterday in Long Island. We can’t recall ever seeing a water bottle get ejected with such force as New York goaltender Al Montoya’s does here.
