In anticipation of this year’s Winter Classic between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit held practice at Comerica Park on Wednesday.
The practice lasted for an hour and was open to the public. The event was also streamed live on NHL.com.
This was an opportunity for fans to come out and watch the team skate and go through a number of light drills.

Of course, HBO was on hand.
All of the lead up to this year’s Winter Classic will be chronicled on HBO’s acclaimed series 24/7, which you can see on Sportsnet.
