Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is set to host the 2013 AHL Outdoor Classic.
On Sunday, the Hershey Bears will play host to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Viewers can watch the game live on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. (ET)/2 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet East, Ontario and Sportsnet One.
The Bears, who are the affiliate of the NHL’s Washington Capitals, sit seventh in the Eastern Conference with 42 points and are 5-5 in their last 10 games.
Not far behind in the standings, the Penguins (affiliate of Pittsburgh’s NHL team) sit in 10th with 39 points and are riding a three-game winning streak.
Jeff Taffe leads the Bears with nine goals and 27 assists in 36 games this season. Meanwhile, Riley Holzapfel is atop the Penguins roster with 10 goals and 14 assists in 38 games.
The Bears aren’t new to the Outdoor Classic as they played in last year’s in which they lost 4-3 in overtime to the Adirondack Phantoms. The game was held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
