The hat trick marks the 22-year-old’s first as a professional and brings his goal tally this season to 19, which leads the American Hockey League.

"It’s just one of those nights when pucks go in," Eberle told the Edmonton Oilers’ website. "The first made a good shot and found a way. Then (Mark) Arcobello made a good play to me back door. (Taylor Hall) has been all over me for a while not being able to capitalize on a hat trick. I’m glad I got it and got the monkey off my back."
Eberle wasn’t the only Baron who had a big night. Arcobello recorded four assists while defenceman Justin Schultz added a goal and an assist.

The Barons have benefitted from the current NHL lockout, with the likes of Eberle, Schultz, Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins all suiting up for Oklahoma City.
However, the team has struggled lately and currently sits fourth in the AHL’s South Division with just 29 points in 25 games.
