After being outscored 11-4 by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League all-stars in the opening two games of the Subway Super Series the Russian Selects will try to get back on track against the best in the Ontario Hockey League.

The OHL team is led by Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Nazem Kadri (London) and potential No. 1 draft pick Taylor Hall (Windsor). The Spitfires' forward leads the OHL in scoring with 45 points in 25 games. Barrie Colts goaltender Peter Di Salvo -- who has 14 wins in 20 games -- will share the duties with London Knights netminder Michael Hutchinson.

New York Islanders prospect Kirill Petrov leads all Russian scorers with two points in two games.

It's the seventh year for the event, which is seen as a critical evaluation tool in Hockey Canada's process of selecting players for the National Junior Team.

The format for the six-game series sees the Russian team play two games each versus a select team from the three CHL member Leagues - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and the Western Hockey League (WHL).

In the seven previous years of the event, the CHL has posted a 30-5 record versus the Russian Selects, with the WHL posting an 11-1 record.
