CHARLOTTETOWN -- Benjamin Casavant scored the only goal in a shootout and Even Mosher made 41 saves as the P.E.I. Rocket beat the Shawinigan Cataractes 5-4 in Wednesday's lone Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game.
Jonathan Bonneau scored twice in regulation for the Rocket (25-18-6), while Jarrad Struthers and Samson Mahbod also scored.
Michael Claffey, Pierre-Alexandre Vandall, Dave Labrecque and Philippe Paradis scored for the Cataractes, who came back from a two-goal deficit in the third period to send the game to overtime.
Marc-Antoine Gelinas stopped 31 shots for Shawinigan (22-19-7).
The game was originally to be played on Nov. 12, but had to be rescheduled when some Shawinigan players were diagnosed with the H1N1 virus.
