Trio of players suspended by QMJHL

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. -- A pair of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League players were handed six-game suspensions Tuesday.
Saint John Sea Dogs forward Mike Thomas received an automatic one-game suspension plus five additional games for an illegal hit in Friday's contest against the Moncton Wildcats.
Montreal Juniors defenceman David Stich will also sit out six games for a hit from behind in Saturday's game against the Lewiston Maineiacs.
Meanwhile, Rimouski Oceanic forward Felix Lefrancois was handed a two-game suspension for kneeing an opponent in Sunday's game against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
