DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. -- The Lewiston Maineiacs acquired all-star goaltender Olivier Roy from Cape Breton as the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's trade period opened Friday with a flurry of moves.

The Maineiacs also picked up a third-round pick in the 2010 draft in exchange for second- and third-round selections this year and a second-rounder in 2012.

The Drummondville Voltigeurs sent defenceman Charles Landry and left-winger Philippe Lefebvre to the Montreal Juniors for first-round picks in 2010 and 2011.

Drummondville also sent defenceman Olivier Hotte and right-winger Sebastien Paquette to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan for right-winger Julien Tremblay and a sixth-round selection in 2010.

The P.E.I. Rocket acquired right-winger Andrej Nestrasil and centre Travis McIsaac from the Victoriaville Tigres for defenceman Vincent Richer and five draft picks, including a second-rounder in 2011.

The Val-d'Or Foreurs traded centre Samuel Morneau to the Gatineau Olympiques for a first-round pick next year. Gatineau also sent second- and third-round selections in 2011 to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies for left-winger Nicolas Deslauriers.

The Rimouski Oceanic traded first- and second-round picks in 2012 to Rouyn-Noranda for blue-liner Jerome Gauthier-Leduc.
