Huberdeau out of series
Saint John Sea Dogs forward Jonathan Huberdeau will be replaced by Victoriaville Tigres' Brandon Hynes for the first game of the Subway Super Series, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced on Monday.
The league also announced that Quebec Ramparts' Anthony Duclair will take Huberdeau's place in Game 2 on Wednesday.
Huberdeau left Monday's morning skate with a foot injury, originally sustained in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
The Sea Dogs captain has 10 goals and 18 assists in 13 games this season.
Hynes has five goals and six assists in 16 games this season for the Tigres. Duclair has eight goals and six assists in 21 games with the Ramparts.
Game 1 of the series can be watched live on Sportsnet at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
