Colton Sissons of the Kelowna Rockets and Ryan Murray of the Everett Silvertips were named team captains for the 2012 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game that takes place Feb. 1 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, B.C. Sissons will captain Team Orr, which will be coached by Pat Quinn, while Murray will wear the 'C' for Team Cherry, coached by Mark Recchi.

Sissons, 18, is from North Vancouver and is the top ranked forward in the Western Hockey League and currently ranks 14th in NHL Central Scouting's midterm rankings for the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Sissons is the captain of the Rockets where he has 36 points in 48 games this season.

Murray, also 18, is from White City, Sask., and is the top ranked defenceman in the WHL and currently NHL Central Scouting has him ranked at number three among North American prospects for the upcoming NHL draft. He is the captain of the Silvertips and represented Canada at the 2012 IIHF world junior hockey championship.

The 2012 Top Prospects Game can been seen live across Rogers Sportsnet channels on Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT

Mikhail Grigorenko of the Quebec Remparts and Tanner Pearson of the Barrie Colts were named alternate captains for Team Cherry, while Brendan Gaunce of the Belleville Bulls and Martin Frk of the Halifax Mooseheads were named alternate captains for Team Cherry.

It was also announced that goaltender Chris Driedger of the WHL's Calgary Hitmen was added to the Team Orr roster.

The 2012 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will mark the 17th annual showcase of the CHL's top-40 NHL draft eligible players. The two-day event also features a skills competition and three-on-three challenge taking place on Tuesday January 31, 2012.
