OTTAWA — Mackenzie Blackwood stopped all 44 shots his way — including a penalty shot — as the Barrie Colts blanked the host Ottawa 67’s 4-0 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Blackwood stopped Jeremiah Addison at 14:52 of the second period on a penalty shot to keep Barrie ahead 2-0.
Andrew Mangiapane had a pair of goals and an assist to lead the Colts’ (2-0-0) offence. Cordell James and Kevin Labanc also scored for Barrie while Justin Scott tacked on three assists.
Liam Herbst kicked away 29-of-32 shots for the 67’s (0-3-0).
The Colts went 2 for 5 on the power play while Ottawa failed to score on seven chances with the man advantage.

WOLVES 5 STEELEHADS 4 (SO)
SUDBURY, Ont. — Dmitry Sokolov scored the winner and Michael Pezzetta had a pair of goals in regulation as the Wolves downed Mississauga.
Charley Graaskamp and Jacob Harris also scored for Sudbury (1-1-0) while Troy Timpano stopped 29 shots for the win.
Alexander Nylander led the Steelheads (1-0-1) offensively with a goal and two helpers, with Nathan Bastian, Everett Clark and Damian Bourne adding the others. Jack Flinn made 17 saves in a losing cause.

STING 4 FRONTENACS 3 (SO)
SARNIA, Ont. — Jakob Chychrun scored the winner and Justin Fazio made 31 saves as the Sting edged Kingston.
Troy Lajeunesse, Anthony Salinitri and Daniel Nikandrov scored in regulation time for Sarnia (1-1-0).
Conor McGlynn struck twice for the Frontenacs (1-0-1) while Robbie Burt added the other. Lucas Perissini stopped 26 shots in defeat.

OSHAWA, Ont. — Joe Manchurek had a hat trick and Jeremy Brodeur made 30 saves as the Generals blanked North Bay.
Kenny Huether had a goal and an assist and Stephen Desrocher rounded out the offence for Oshawa (2-1-0).
Jake Smith stopped 30 shots for the Battalion (0-2-0).
