Blades reveal sweaters for ‘Star Wars Night’

The force is strong with the Saskatoon Blades’ new sweaters.

On Nov. 28 the Blades will be wearing special sweaters as part of a themed Star Wars night at the SaskTel Centre.

Officially licensed by Lucasfilm, the uniforms depict the famous battle of Hoth.

Saskatoon partnered with fertilizer company PotashCorp and the Food Banks of Saskatchewan to put on the event and to help raise funds and awareness for the charity.

As part of the promotion, the Blades are also encouraging fans to show up in any Star Wars gear they may have.

The Blades take on the Edmonton Oil Kings on Nov. 28.
