SYDNEY, N.S. — Alex Bureau made 31 saves to backstop the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles to a 5-4 win over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in Quebec Junior Hockey League action on Thursday.
The Screaming Eagles (2-2-1) spread their scoring around, with goals from Kyle Farrell, Julien Pelletier, Nicolas Dozzi, William Carrier and Stephen Woodworth.
Cape Breton had period leads of 2-1 and 4-3.
Jeremy Gregoire had two goals and an assist for the Drakkar (2-2-1), who also got goals from Frederic Gamelin and Denis Gorbunov.
Baie-Comeau goalie Philippe Cadorette was replaced by Simon Lemieux after he allowed his fifth goal of the game on 18 shots at 4:23 of the third period. Lemieux stopped all six shots he faced.
