Patience is a virtue, and Evan Rodrigues has got plenty.

Rodrigues, a senior from Boston University, executed a textbook toe-drag during the NCAA’s Northeast Regional Final at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The game-winning power play goal came with just 2:24 left in regulation, lifting the Terriers to a 3-2 victory over the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs. Now Boston University will head to the Frozen Four.

This was the second goal of the game and the 21st of the season for the Etobicoke, Ont., native. He also kicked off the scoring with the game’s first goal.

The Terriers, who also have Jack Eichel on the roster, will face the winner of Saturday’s North Dakota-St. Cloud State matchup (puck drop at 9pm ET). The Frozen Four begins April 9 in Boston’s TD Garden.
