RIMOUSKI, Que. — Anthony DeLuca scored three times — including the game winner — as the Rimouski Oceanic edged the Val-d’Or Foreurs 4-3 in overtime Friday in Game 1 of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s semifinals.
DeLuca’s second goal of the game came at 18:55 of the third period to force extra time. He followed up with his third goal 1:55 into overtime to give Rimouski a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven playoff series.

Andrew Picco also found the back of the net for the Oceanic, who got a 19-save outing from Louis-Phillip Guindon.
Anthony Richard, Shawn Ouellette-St-Amant and Pierre-Maxime Poudrier supplied the offence for the Foreurs.
Val-d’Or’s Etienne Montpetit stopped 29-of-33 shots in a losing cause.
Rimouski went 1 for 2 on the power play while the Foreurs failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
The Oceanic host Game 2 on Saturday.
