Drakkar shut out Tigres to take 3-0 series lead

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Philippe Cadorette made 22 saves as the Baie-Comeau Drakkar shut out the Victoriaville Tigres 3-0 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff action Monday.

Petr Straka, Jeremy Gregoire and Samuel Noreau each scored for Baie-Comeau, which leads the quarter-final series 3-0 heading into Game 4 on Wednesday.

Brandon Whitney made 41 saves in net for the Tigres, who were held scoreless on nine power-play opportunities.

The Drakkar meanwhile went 2 for 9 with the man advantage.
