This week, Sam and Jeff talk about the great job Red Deer did hosting the MasterCard Memorial Cup and whether the London Knights can make another run in 2017. The guys then move on to CHL news, including Marty Williamson’s firing in Niagara and Jason McKee’s hiring in Vancouver.

Then Jeff is joined by Rouyn-Noranda assistant coach Jason Fortier to discuss the Huskies’ season, goaltender Chase Marchand’s Rudy-esque campaign, Francis Perron’s leadership and Timo Meier’s professionalism.

From the Memorial Cup champs, 2016 NHL Draft-eligible forward Cliff Pu stops by. Among other things, he discusses how only hockey could keep him in line when he was younger, and the Knights’ pre-game dance routines.

Finally, Windsor Spitfires VP and general manager Warren Rychel discusses his experience in Red Deer and what his franchise must do to keep the momentum going next year when Windsor hosts the Memorial Cup.
