League-leading Drakkar win 11th straight

QUEBEC — The league-leading Baie-Comeau Drakkar won their 11th straight game Tuesday with a 4-2 victory over the Quebec Remparts in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Maxime St-Cyr, Alec Jon Banville, Alexandre Ranger and Charles Poulin scored for the Drakkar (36-12-4), who moved three points ahead of idle Blainville-Boisbriand.

Anthony Duclair, with his league-high 46th goal, and Nick Sorensen replied for the Remparts (30-14-8).

Philippe Cadorette made 23 saves for Baie-Comeau. At the other end of the ice, Francois Brassard stopped 26 shots.

VAL-D’OR, Que. — The Foreurs overcame a two-goal deficit to blow past Cape Breton.

Pierre-Maxime Poudrier, Julien Gauthier, Anthony Mantha and Nicolas Aube-Kubel had a goal apiece for Val-d’Or (32-18-2).

Kyle Farrell and Julien Pelletier gave the Screaming Eagles (27-22-3) a 2-0 lead in the first period.

Antoine Bibeau finished with 28 saves for the Foreurs, while Screaming Eagles goalie Alex Bureau stopped 32 shots.
