LONDON, Ont. — Owen MacDonald scored twice to lead the London Knights to their fifth straight victory, 5-2 over the Peterborough Petes in Ontario Hockey League action on Sunday.
Christian Dvorak had a power-play goal and two assists for the Knights (20-10-2), who outshot their opponents 45-32. Michael McCarron and Mitchell Marner rounded out the London offence.
Josh MacDonald opened the scoring, putting the Petes (10-16-4) on the board at 7:58 of the first period. Jonathan Ang added the other Petes’ goal.
Knights goaltender Tyler Parsons made 30 saves in the victory. Peterborough’s Scott Smith stopped 40 shots in the losing effort.
London was 1 for 2 on the power play while the Petes failed to take advantage of three man-advantage situations.

COLTS 6 STEELHEADS 1
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Roy Radke led the charge with two goals and an assist as Barrie downed the Steelheads.
Garrett Hooey scored one goal and helped on two more for the Colts (16-11-2), who extended their winning streak to five games. Kevin Labanc, Andrew Mangiapane and Joseph Blandisi also scored.
Lucas Venuto had the lone goal for Mississauga (14-15-1).

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Mike Amadio scored a power-play goal 3:50 into overtime to lead the Battalion over Kingston.
Zach Poirier also scored for North Bay (16-8-6).
Conor McGlynn replied for the Frontenacs (13-12-4) with a short-handed goal at 16:17 of the second period.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Blake Speers scored three goals and Bryan Moore had two goals and an assist as the Greyhounds topped Windsor for their fifth-straight win.
Jared McCann scored one goal and helped on another for Sault Ste. Marie (24-6-2) while Sergey Tolchinsky tacked on three assists.
Slater Doggett scored on a penalty shot for the Spitfires (11-18-1). Trevor Murphy, Ryan Foss, and Ryan Moore supplied the rest of the offence.

GENERALS 3 STORM 2
GUELPH, Ont. — Aidan Wallace scored the eventual winner at 2:25 of the third period and Oshawa staved off a late comeback to edge the Storm.
Joe Manchurek and Sam Harding also scored for the league-best Generals (25-4-1), who led 3-0 before conceding two Guelph goals.
Luke Cairns and Pius Suter found the back of the net for the Storm (19-11-1) and assisted on each other’s goals.
