ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – Brendan Perlini scored three times and Josh Ho-Sang set up two of them as the Niagara IceDogs toppled the visiting Barrie Colts 5-1 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Jordan Maletta and Matt Gillard also scored for the IceDogs (2-4-0), who snapped a four-game losing streak, while Mikkel Aagaard also had a pair of helpers.
Julius Nattinen supplied the offence for the Colts (4-2-0).
Niagara’s Brent Moran made 16 saves for the win as Ruan Badenhorst turned away 25-of-30 shots for Barrie.
The Ice Dogs went 1 for 4 on the power play while the Colts scored once on six chances with the man advantage.

WINDSOR, Ont. — Christian Fischer scored once and set up two more and MIchael Giugovaz stopped 38 shots as the Spitfires downed Peterborough.
Cristiano DiGiacinto had a goal and an assist for Windsor (4-0-1), which got the rest of its offence for Aaron Luchuk and Gabriel Vilardi.
Gret Betold scored for the Petes (3-3-0) while Matthew Mancina kicked out 26-of-29 shots in a losing cause.
