FLINT, Mich. — Ty Dellandrea scored 4:58 into overtime as the Flint Firebirds edged the Ottawa 67’s 5-4 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Nicholas Caamano scored twice in regulation time for Flint (3-0-0), while Fedor Gordeev and C.J. Clarke chipped in as well. Garrett Forrest made 31 saves for the win.
Travis Barron struck twice for Ottawa (2-1-2), while Austen Keating and Graeme Clarke also found the back of the net.
Olivier Tremblay turned aside 26 shots for the 67’s.
The Firebirds went 1 for 7 on the power play and Ottawa was 1 for 6 with the man advantage.

ERIE, Pa. — Adam Mascherin scored the eventual winner early in the third period as Kitchener eked out a win over the Otters.
Joseph Garreffa and Jake Henderson also scored for the Rangers (3-1-1).

SAGINAW, Ont. — Alexey Toropchenko’s power-play goal was the eventual winner as Guelph blew past Saginaw.
